Aiken High School is home to the New Tech Program, a community of learning for grades 7 to 12 dedicated to teaching the skills students need to thrive in the 21st century.

With emphasis on project-based learning, integrated technology, and a positive and empowering school culture, the New Tech Program is nationally recognized for high graduation rates, raising ACT scores, and increasing college and career readiness.

Lisa Votaw

Aiken Principal, Lisa VowtawLisa Votaw, Principal at Aiken New Tech, has had a lengthy career in education but has always had a soft spot for Aiken. Her love of Aiken began as a teacher in 1991 where she taught for 11 years before becoming the Assistant Principal.
